Why did you decide you could be a comedian?
I love comedy and thought it would be fun to give it a go.
Who is your favourite comedian?
I really appreciate anyone who gets under the light and gives it a go!!(Almost!!)
Are you surprised at how much your career in comedy has advanced through the year that you have been a comedian?
Pleasantly surprised, I seem to get better every time I get a chance to try my stuff. I love a big crowd and a big occasion, it seems to bring out my best.
What can you say about the local WA talent in comedy? Are they underrated?
Very!!! Perth has some EXCELLENT comedians- DAMIAN!, Stevie D, Werzel, Gavin Baskerville, Dooley....... the list just goes on. We are a tad underrated but the main problem is lack of venues and promotion!
What have people said to you after gigs? (if they've said anything at all)
Do you really wank that much??
Where was your best gig held?
The Brass Monkey last year in the Raw- my first ever, six or seven months later my first paid gig-also at the Brass, and last friday the 25 feb club 151 in Kalgoorlie as MC.
Do you think you will ever be as well known as comedians such as Judith Lucy and Rove McManus? (notice how I said WA comedians that not many people realise are WA comedians?)
nuh!!
What are the advantages of being a WA comedian?
Heaps to build on, lots of material, hopefully getting comedy going on a local level.
Disadvantages? (I'm guessing this one will have a longer answer than the above one)
Lack of venues, not a lot of publicity and not really a comedy educated public-yet!! But, there are some promising signs.
What are you aiming for as a comedian?
The urinal, not getting any on the floor at home and the chance to scam free beers at comedy venues!! Sometimes a convenient sock!!!
You have a lot of masturbation jokes, is this what comedians should write jokes about all the time?
They aren't masturbation jokes they are little slices of truth dredged up from dark recesses of my pathetic little existence!! No, comedians should not use wanking jokes/little slices of truth, as then my stuff would then be run of the mill.
